I am a Air National Guard veteran who loves photography, traveling and working on my ever expanding train set. I have dedicated my life to public service, and now spend my days volunteering for those requiring assistance with their taxes. My life of service began in 1976 when I joined the 167th Air National Guard at Martinsburg, West Virginia, where I served until 1997, retiring as a Tech Sergeant in Public Affairs.
In the mid 70ās, I found my love for snapping pictures while working as a photographer for the Montgomery County Sentinel, after which I took on a variety of jobs, including an editorial assistant, meter reader, and a bank reconciliation clerk for Washington Gas. In 1988, I became a revenue agent for the IRS, and joined Tax Payer Advocate Service until my retirement in 2011.
When Iām not busy photographing my family, travels and hobbies, I helps those in need of free tax preparation through the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program.
