Govenment Shutdown and Honor Flight-Austin

Barbara and I photographed another Honor Flight Austin on September 27 and 28 with 35 WWII veterans coming to Washington D.C. from Fredericksburg, and Austin, Texas.  The WWII vets visited the Arlington National Cemetery, the WWII Memorial, the Korean Memorial, the Vietnam Memorial, the Air Force Memorial, the Marine Memorial, and treated to a bus sightseer tour ride of various D.C. buildings by a Obama staff member of military affairs.  IMG_6676good use2 Watch for my photoshow of this event soon! Barbara and I were allowed to photograph the Chicago Honor Flight on October 2, but the general public was not allowed into the WWII Memorial due to the government shutdown.
