PASSED my MVA Drivers Road test today with spinner knob

I passed my MVA Drivers Road test today with a spinner knob and my 2009 Hyundai Elantra at the Silver Spring (White Oak) station. It had been 49 years since I took my first driving test, but this had more meaning to me....I was anxious, but I passed...and now the "J" is off my temporary license given to me after my stroke. This means I do not need a licensed rehap driver in my car when I drive. I am so relieved.......

Therapy ended; Looking forward to B-26 reunion in D.C.

Casey at Medstar, ended my hand therapy sessions yesterday...May 11....I am now on my own to get my hand better by my glove, electric finger simulation machine, and practice with small objects. My hand is still numb and I hope to progress further. But I am disappointed with the very slow (predictable) progress. Looking forward to the B-26 reunion here in D.C. and see how well I can use my SLR camera/monopod. We will also see Flak-Bait again at the Dulles Smithsonian Air and Space....

Hope to have a Halloween party this year, VITA ends

Photo is a stitch of my HO train layout for the October Halloween party....
